When preparing for a stress free move.  Be sure to:

• Call your local telephone service to transferred to your new address
• Call the phone company to leave phones at both locations operable on move day
• Pack your phones seperately
• Call to transfer your long distance service
• Fill out change of address forms and mail to Post Office to forward your mail
• Call to have electricity transferred to new address.
• Call your cable company to have service switched to new address.
• Call gas and water service if they are not provided at your new property
• Don't forget to plan an ample amount of time to pack
• Inform your mover of your boxes total
• Call all credit card (and bills) companies to transferred to your new address
• Call your moving consultant the day before - confirm your move and any last minute adjustments
• Call your insurance agent and have your homeowner's or renter's insurance transferred
• Call your bank to have new checks printed
• Make sure to update your driver's license and voter's information

When should you book a move?

• movers tend to be busy at the end of the month and/or middle of the month.
• leaving the decision to the last minute will increase your rates
• book your move early to avoid disappointment and inconvenience
